SPAGHETTI WITH ANISE FLOWERS
Recipe for two people
Ingredients:
200 grams of spaghetti
1/2 bar of butter
3 garlic cloves
2 Anise star Flowers
1 teaspoon of Sea Salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
Preparation:
In a pot is put to heat a liter of water, add two tablespoons of butter, anise flowers and salt. When the water is hot, add the spaghetti dry pasta, if we put it when the water is cold the paste will stick, that’s why it is very important that the water is hot with the melted butter, which separate of giving good flavor to the spaghetti with anise flowers, it prevents the spaghetti from sticking.
Let it cook for three minutes, the cooking time may have variation depending on the thickness of the pasta, or even the altitude above sea level where we are cooking.
Yes me too, when I heard the importance about altitude being cooking at the beach I did not believe it, but it is true, at sea level; the cooking of meals is faster. That is why we have to be checking the pasta so that this spaghetti anise remains with the consistency we are looking for in order to cook very well the spaghetti with anise flowers.
I like it al dente, which is a term where the pasta is soft on the outside and a bit firm inside, for many people it is not pleasant a too soft pasta.
In the stove place a frying pan over medium heat, add the rest of the butter and when it is melted incorporate the garlic that we cut finely. We left it for two minutes mixing it until it with be golden color.
When the pasta reaches the desired level of cooking it is removed from the water because with the heat will continue to be cooked, and then it is added immediately in the pan with butter and garlic, we are almost done for having the spaghetti with anise flowers ready.
Carefully turn the spaghetti with anise flowers in the pan to fry it a little bit more and take the garlic and butter seasoning. When it is fried add the pepper.
We serve the spaghetti with anise flowers in the plate and for decorate and give spices flavor add the dry parsley.
Put Parmesan cheese or the cheese of your choice.
Bon Appetite.
