Fettuccine with shrimp

For 4 people




500 grams of Fettuccine pasta

1/2 Kilo of shrimp

1 cup spinach, cut into small pieces

1 cup of cream

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

250 grams of butter

1/2 cup of oil

1/2 cup chopped parsley

4 cloves garlic

1 onion






To make this delicious Fettuccine with shrimp, in a saucepan we serve some water, a little bit of oil, salt and a piece of onion, put it in high heat, once is very hot add the fettuccini pasta, let it cook for 15 minutes.

In a frying pan, melt some butter and fry the grated garlic and chopped onion until the color turns from white to transparent.

Prepare your shrimp, clean and peel (cooking tip: remember not to waste the shrimp skin, with that you can make a delicious shrimp stock)

Next, add the peeled shrimp, cook them until they turn into a light color orange, remove from the pan and reserve (cooking tip: We remove shrimp from the pan otherwise, shrimp will continue shrinking due to the loss of moisture and we want them perfect for our Fettuccine.

In the same pan with the garlic and onion left from the cooked shrimp we add more butter and melt, once is melted add spinach and cook for 2 minutes. Remove the excess of water and then add the cream, stir and incorporate the cooked fettuccine, mix it carefully so the pasta doesn´t break.

We are almost ready, to try our delicious Fettuccine with Shrimp. In the pasta mixture, add fresh parsley, a touch of black pepper and finally but not least, add the shrimp you reserved. Give a final stir until the ingredients are well mixed and you have your own delicious and special Fettuccine with Shrimp

Serve on a plate and add to Parmesan cheese.
