Fish and cheese bars with tamarind Dip

Fish and cheese bars with tamarind Dip, is an excellent choice for your meetings or simply to please your family in a tasty and nutritious way.


The ingredients that are needed to cook this tuna snack are very few:

1/2 Kilo of ground fish

300 grams of manchego or cheddar cheese

1/2 cup olive oil

200 grams of crushed bread

1 bar of butter

1 egg

1 tablespoon dried or fresh parsley

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 Tablespoon Ground Pepper



Ingredients for The Tamarindo dip

2 Tomatoes

1/2 Onion

4 Tamarinds

6 Tree Chilies

1 clove garlic

Salt and pepper as per your choice.







Preparation of tuna bars with tamarindo dip:

In a bowl mix the ground fish with the egg, parsley, salt, pepper and the bread crumbs, this is added little amount, if the mixture we are very liquid is added a little more until they are with a good consistency to form the bars.

When the mixture is uniform and firm, a small amount is taken with the hands, a ball is formed, flattened with the hands and a cheese bar is placed in the center, covered and formed the bar.

The bars are passed through the bread crumb until they are completely covered.

Put butter and olive oil in a pan, the oil prevents the butter from burning and becoming dark.
