Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara are located in the State of Jalisco) called Tapalpa, located 140 kilometers from Guadalajara.  Tapala is 2000 meters above the sea level. It is surrounded by tall and leafy pine trees and beautiful landscapes that will envelop you in its aroma of wood and oak.

Tapalpa is a magical town that will fascinate you. There are great recreational activities as well as relaxation events for tourist..

When you come to Jalisco, do not forget to visit her and try her traditional tamales of spinach and cheese accompanied by a rich and hot atole. In the main square of Tapala, there are many places with Rich traditional foods and drinks. This is where my family found this Mexican recipe of spinach and cheese tamales.

The tamales of spinach with cheese my own special variation carry a poblano chili that gives a slight pungent flavor. In my video, I show you how to roast and peel the poblano chiles. They are served on a bed of green tomato sauce and then dipped in cream and cheese. Wow! Yum, Yum!
