Pork in chile guajillo sauce

Recipe for two people:



1/2 Kilo of pork, shoulder, leg or loin

2 Guajillo Chilies

1/2 Onion

3 Tree Chilies

1 clove garlic

4 bay leaves

2 Tomatoes

1/4 cup vegetable oil or shortening

1 tablespoon of salt

1/2 Tablespoon pepper



The meat is cooked in a pot with enough water over medium heat, along with the tomatoes, onion, the guajillo chilies, the bay leaves, clove of garlic, the tree chilies and the salt is added.

Let’s cook this Pork in guajillo chili sauce for thirty minutes.

The combination of these ingredients will give the pork meat a rich flavor in guajillo chili sauce.

When the meat is cooked, it is removed from the pot and it is split in thin strips using the hands when it is no longer hot, or helping us with two forks to avoid getting burned, in this way it is very easy and fast. The pork in guajillo chili sauce is one of the dishes which has a more intensified flavor.

Ok, in the blender let’s put the tomatoes, onion, the chilies, garlic, and the bay leaves with the broth that left the cooking and liquefy it very well.

This mixture liquefied is going to give an exquisite flavor to the pork in guajillo chili sauce; these ingredients give the perfect flavor.

In a frying pan on medium heat add the oil, when it is hot the splitted meat in thin strips is added to be fried, we move constantly so that it fries evenly.

When it is fried add the sauce, a little more salt and pepper. It is mixed and left it to boil until the liquid is almost consumed. The pork in guajillo chili sauce preparation is done.

We serve this delicious pork in chile guajillo sauce, accompanied it with beans or prepare with any of the dishes that I mentioned at the beginning of the recipe page.
